Kevin S. Boone

Kevin S. Boone, 60, of Greensboro, Pa., passed away at 12:57 P.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was born December 10, 1959 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of the late Lawrence E. and Sarah E. (Areford) Boone . Kevin was a 1977 graduate of Mapletown High School and resided in Greensboro all of his life. He was a member of the Mapletown United Methodist Church and until his recent illness, was employed as a machine operator at Wilson Wood Forest, Jefferson, Pa. Kevin enjoyed karaoke, playing his guitar, camping and hunting and fishing with his brothers and uncles. He was a hard working, kind and loving person.

Surviving are his wife, Barb (Marsh) Askey; a son, Ben Boone of Morgantown, W. Va.; two step sons, Jacob Askey and Joel Askey, both of Greensboro; two step daughters, Stacey Johnson (Kyle) of Myrtle Beach, S. C. and Elizabeth Gordon of Morgantown; two brothers, Lawrence E. Boone, Jr.(Sue) of Lyle, N. Y. and Nelson E. Boone (Joyce) of Greensboro; a sister, Cynthia D. Mackey (Lee) of Carmichaels and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the current CDC guidelines, arrangements are private.  Private interment will be at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa.
