Kevin Gregg Wilson, 65, of New Salem, Pa., passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026. He was born on January 9, 1961, on the Tachikawa Air Base in Tokyo, Japan, to the late Erwin W. and Carol A. (Stansfield) Wilson.

Kevin graduated from Mapletown High School in 1980, and then went on to serve in the United States Air Force. After his military service, Kevin worked as a contractor for many companies including 84 Lumber Company. He eventually started his own company, Wilson Construction, which he ran for over 20 years. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 286. Kevin devoted a great deal of time to his trade, he was always working.

Kevin loved to be outdoors, and enjoyed hunting. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, and took pleasure in going out for a ride, especially to Ohio and Summersville, W.Va.. He had a love for woodworking. Kevin was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. He enjoyed attending Penguins games with his son, Chris. He was also an avid pool player, participating in local leagues. Kevin had a fun-loving personality. He was the family comedian, always keeping everyone laughing at family functions. He cherished any time he could spend with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his son, Chris Wilson (Samantha) of East Millsboro, Pa.; stepchildren, Nikki Lewis, Jonathan Lewis, and Kellie Jo Lewis; grandchildren, Kendra Davis and Jaxson Wilson; step-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kambreylin, and Einsley; sisters, Kathleen G. Wilson-Vazquez (Luis) of Miami, Fla.; Kelleen G. Vannicola (His lifelong friend Ernie) of Greensboro, Pa.; and Karrie G. Hoffman (Bob) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; several nieces and nephews, and his special friend, Cathy Lewis.

Family and friends are welcome from 2:00 to 4:30 P.M. on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc., Carmichaels, Pa. A funeral service will be held at 4:30 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Kenneth Haines officiating. 

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Kevin's memory to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 292 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Dilliner, PA,15327.
