Lucas Alexander Phillips

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lucas Alexander Phillips. He came into this world on March 30, 2026, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to his loving parents, Noah and Alyse Phillips, and peacefully entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Though his time with us was heartbreakingly short, Lucas was surrounded by unconditional love and care throughout his days, by both his parents and his nursing staff. He listened to the sweet sound of his parents' voices as they read to him.  He laid in their arms watching the sun set. Lucas was a strong little guy, and fought so very hard. He will be loved for a lifetime.

Left to cherish his sweet memory, along with his parents, are his sisters, Willow Phillips and Adoree Fanno; great grandfather, Mark Coptis; uncle and aunt, David and Melanie Fanno; godparents, Donnie and Veronica Fike; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He now rests with his great grandmother, Alice Coptis, and great grandparents, Carl and Virginia Fanno.

At the request of the family, all services will be private.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses at WVU Medicine Children's Hospital for their care and compassion.
