Mary Ann "Tootsie" Lessick, 80, of Carmichaels, Pa., passed away at 9:43 A.M. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 9, 1937 in Marianna, Pa., a daughter to the late Joseph W. and Jennie J. (Gerden) Glad. Mrs. Lessick was 1955 graduate of the German Township High School. On March 3, 1962 she married Raymond E. Lessick, who survives.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, decorating for the holidays, especially for Christmas and listening and playing music.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Randell W. Lessick of Phoenixville, Pa. and Theodore A. Lessick and his wife, Kristin, of Honey Brook, Pa.; a daughter, Melissa S. Veneracion and her husband, Brad, of La Plata, Md.; two granddaughters, Emma Rae Lessick and Megan Czapp and a sister, Janet Bobincheck and her husband, Leonard, of Sewickley, Pa. Deceased is an infant son, Clifford A. Lessick.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 followed at 11:00 A.M. by a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels with the Rev. J. Francis Frazer as celebrant. Interment will follow to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa. A vigil service will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Friday in the funeral home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to WVU Cancer Institute Radiation Oncology Fund .
