Michael Joseph Simonetti

February 10, 1995 — September 27, 2023

A son, a brother, a friend, an omnipotent light in the world, Michael "Mikey" Joseph Simonetti's radiance did not end with his death on September 27th, 2023 at the age of 28. While we cannot see or feel him anymore, Mikey remains but simply in a less organized form. His life and energy now contributes to the enigmatic universe he so often marveled about but his contagious humor and positivity will live on in all of our hearts and minds.

Mikey entered the world on February 10th, 1995, surmounting monumental odds through his entire life. He was raised by the Conard family but became an integral piece of many families who will love and cherish his legacy forever. Mikey was a blessing with the cutest little dimples and a smile that would cast light in the darkest of rooms. He fiercely loved and supported those he cared for with his cat Floki, or Bub as he affectionately called him, being very high on that list. He was proud of simple accomplishments in life like placing in wrestling state championships and being brilliant in his passions and interests.

Mikey was a simple guy and often defined by his interests and pleasures as he delved so passionately into them that he quickly became a subject matter expert. He was an avid anime fan and could tell you all of the latest details for nearly any show or manga. He loved designer cars and could tell you years, makes, models, and values of the most fascinating cars in the world. He loved pokemon cards, collected them vigorously, and always had knowledge of the rarest and most valuable cards. He was a lover of astronomy and always full of esoteric facts about space and time. Finally, he cherished greatly any time he could jump online and play video games with his friends and family—whom were second to nothing in his life.

Mikey loved his friends and family above all else and was always a rock when someone needed his support regardless of his own circumstances. He was a wild, free-spirited, and optimistic person that would always smile in the bleakest times. One of his favorite mottos was "Life's a garden, dig it" and he surely lived and projected that positivity into the world. Mikey will be immensely missed but remains a prominent and fond memory to all he has left behind. He is survived by a guardian Angela Conard-Kuntz, sisters, Ciara, Diamond, and Daytona (Riley), Cheyanne Kuntz, Ricki Antonucci, and Lucy David, brothers, Anthony and Christopher (Walker), Bill King Sr., Glenn Miller II, very close cousins Billy King Jr. and Damian Miller, and innumerable friends who loved and cherished him dearly. He is preceded by his mom, Debbie Conard-King, his aunt Patty Conard-Sappington, a guardian Kelly Sonneborn, his sister Nicole Miller, and his brother Justin Conard. May you fly high and experience the most peaceful of rest, until we all meet again.

Our lives go on without you but nothing is the same.
We have to hide pure heartache when someone speaks your name.
Sad are the hearts that love you, silent are the tears that fall,
and living here without you is the hardest part of all.
You did so many things for us, your heart was so kind and true.
When we needed someone, we could always count on you.
Your magnetic presence will not return when we are all together
but with love in our hearts you walk with us forever.
