Patricia June Hill

Patricia June Hill, 86, of Greensboro, Pa., was called from the bonds of this earth and was serenaded from her home by Almighty God's holy angels all the way to the throne of God at 1:46 P.M. on Saturday, October 16, 2021. She broke free of her earthy body after a long bout with many physical issues. Patricia was born July 2, 1935 in McClellandtown, Pa., a daughter of the late Raymond Harrison and Minnie Elizabeth (Barnhart) Lewis. She was a graduate of German Township High School and resided in Greene County all of her married life. Patricia was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church, Ninevah, Pa., where she was a member of the choir, the Women's Missionary Union and a youth leader. She also served as a Cub Scout den mother. In 1980, Patricia became a licensed practical nurse and earned an associates degree in biblical studies from the Beulah Land College. She was a certified peacemaker, homemaker, caregiver and a wonderful mother to seven children. Decorating cakes was her specialty. On August 23, 1958, she married Harry A. Hill, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Harry A. Hill, III of Fairchance, Pa. and David R. Hill (Patricia) of Nantucket, Mass.; four daughters, Pamela J. Clark of Nemacolin, Pa., Kimberly G. King (Danny) of Lake Lynn, Pa., Cathy R. Herod of Hyannis, Mass. and Nettie L. Roscoe of Carmichaels, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas E. Lewis of McClellandtown; a sister, Linda K. Clark (Harold) of Cleveland, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Nathan P. Hill; a brother, Terry R. Lewis and a sister, Ellen F. Clark.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.

The funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Whipkey officiating.
