Paul L. Giles, 66, of Waynesburg, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 15, 2022 in his home. He was born August 28, 1955 in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of the late Charles Edgar and Mary Lou (Lewis) Giles. Paul was raised in Millsboro, Pa. and he relocated to Connecticut where he raised his family. He resided in Waynesburg for the past 20 years. Paul was a union brick layer working in New England, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He was a member of the International Union of Brick Layers and Allied Craftsman. Paul enjoyed exploring the many country roads of Greene County. He cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Whitney A. Giles (Thomas Comeau) of Carmichaels; five grandchildren, Trenten Giles, Kadin Giles, Austin Giles, Miah Comeau and Ryan Comeau; three brothers, David Giles (Edith) of Concord, N. H., Allen Giles (Jody) of Greensboro, Pa. and Gary Giles (Diane) of Carmichaels; a sister, Beth Brady of Beallsville, Pa.; his step-mother, Doe Giles of Millsboro; a step brother, Ricky Miller; two step sisters, Patty Vayansky and Jeanie Bell; his fiancée, Cheryl Zalek of Waynesburg and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Geremiah B. Giles and a granddaughter, Alexis Giles, who died in infancy.
There will be no public viewing.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Paul's life at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Ten Mile Creek County Park, Clarksville, PA 15322.
