Pauline Frances Boczar, of Carmichaels, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the age of 94. Pauline was born on August 23, 1931, in German Township, the daughter of the late John and Antoinette (Tokarski) Lazuka.
Pauline attended German Township High School. On July 5, 1952, she married Francis Leo Boczar. The two shared 62 wonderful years together until his passing on October 6, 2014. Pauline was a member of the St. Matthias Parish at St. Hugh in Carmichaels, having previously been a member of St. Mary, Crucible. In her free time, she found great joy in crocheting. She always enjoyed her time spent in the kitchen with her beloved husband, especially when preparing holiday meals together for Easter and Thanksgiving.
She is survived by her son, Francis L. Boczar, Jr. of Pittsburgh, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and their wives, Walter (Audrey) and David (Shirley) Lazuka.
Family and friends are welcome from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc., Carmichaels. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Matthias Parish at St. Hugh, 408 Route 88, Carmichaels, with Rev. Thomas Lewandowski as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Crucible.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pauline's memory to the St. Matthias Parish, 408 Route 88, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
