Robert F. Fabery, Sr., 82, of Nemacolin, peacefully passed away in his home on Thursday, April 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 7, 1943, in Uniontown, the son of the late Elmer and Anna Marie (Discovich) Fabery.
Robert attended North Union High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. After completing his service, he worked at Malsbary Manufacturing in Uniontown. He then became a salesperson for Cumberland Building Supply and later Millsboro Lumber Company. He ended his career at Accellent, where he retired as a machinist in 2009.
Robert shared 61 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Carol A. (Hastings) Fabery, whom he wed on October 24, 1964. They moved to Nemacolin, where they built their life together, and have remained since 1967. He was a member of St. Matthias Parish at St. Hugh in Carmichaels. In his free time, Robert enjoyed fishing.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Robert F. Fabery, Jr. (Wendy) of Scottdale, Pa.; daughter, Tamara Kiefer (Mark) of Carmichaels; grandchildren, Kerigan E. Fabery, Kendall K. Fabery, and Gabrielle H. Fabery; brother, Richard J. Fabery of Uniontown, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Fabery.
Family and friends are welcome from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc., Carmichaels. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Matthias Parish at St. Hugh, 408 Route 88, Carmichaels, with Rev. Thomas Lewandowski as celebrant. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park.
