Ronald R. Sova

Ronald R. Sova, 65 of Reedsville, W. Va. and formerly of Waynesburg, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. He was born August 19, 1961 in Wiesbaden, Germany, a son of the late Donald R. “Sarge” and JoAnn Dolores Crago Sova. Ron owned and operated Paradise Homes in Morgantown for 18 years until his retirement in 2021. He enjoyed Rving across the United States after his retirement with his companion, Lisa. Ron also enjoyed hunting, fishing, ATV riding, shooting sporting clays, collecting coins and camping with his granddaughter, Ella. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Surviving are his daughter, Melissa Hileman (Trent) of Bruceton Mills, W. Va.; a son Anthony Riley (fiancée Abby Barrow) of Morgantown; his companion, Lisa Smith; 14 grandchildren; three brothers, Donald J. Sova (Louise) of Waynesburg, Pa., Gregory P. Sova (Tracy) of Masontown, W. Va. and Shawn E. Sova (Lisa); two sisters, Valorie L. Matthews of North Carolina and Suzanne M. Baker (companion Dea) of Carmichaels and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a sister, JoAnne Sova and a brother, Gregory Sova

Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P.M. on Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday, October 25, 2026 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 P.M. on Sunday with Pastor Larry Buckland officiating.
