Rose Mendarino, 90, of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Donora, Pa., passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. She was born November 6, 1934 in Donora, a daughter of the late Carl A. and Josephine M. (Palone) Mendarino, Sr.
Surviving are three sisters, Grace Manges (James) of Donora, Gloria Backstrom (Robert) of West Newton, Pa. and Beatrice Mendarino of Carmichaels; a brother, Carl Mendarino, Jr. of Carmichaels; two brothers-in-law, Donald Garland of Amity, Pa. and Bernie Reday of Monessen, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Yolanda Reday and Joan Garland.
There will be no public visitation and private interment will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Monongahela, Pa.
