Ruby "Peggy" Pyles

Ruby "Peggy" Pyles, 81, formerly of Mount Morris, Pa., passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.  She was born November 18, 1942 in Morgantown, W. Va., a daughter of the late William S. and Doris M. (Whitehair) Piper.  Mrs. Pyles as a former member of the Miracle Mission in Mount Morris and served as vice president of the church's ladies auxiliary.

Surviving are three sons, Michael Zarlingo, III of Youngstown, Ohio, Tracy Lee Bowen of Dilliner, Pa. and Terrence Joe Bowen of Mount Morris; two daughters, Linda Ann Varner of Youngstown and Jennifer M. Martisko (Charles Adams) of Masontown; five grandchildren, Chad Smitley (Courtney), Kaya Smitley (John Arbogast), Josh Smitley (Felisha Sherman), Luke Benford and Dylan Smitley and numerous great grandchildren who she loved dearly; a sister, Connie Sue Piper of Dilliner and several nieces and nephews. She was called mom and grandma by many others throughout her life.  Deceased are a brother, Samuel H. Piper and two sisters, Roselyn Anna Cummings and Patricia P. Phillips.

There will be no public viewing and arrangements are private.
