Sylvia Brioli, 59, of Carmichaels, Pa., died Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. with her husband by her side. She had suffered complications from a recent heart surgery. Sylvia was born July 13, 1959 in Kaiserslautern, Germany to Irmhild Davis, who survives and the late Hans-Dieter Heins. She was the stepdaughter of the late Harold K. Davis. Sylvia traveled the world through her stepfather's military career until they settled in Jefferson, Pa., where she was a 1977 graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School.
On December 11, 1982, Sylvia married Jeffrey S. Brioli, who survives. Together they shared thirty-nine wonderful years and had two children. She was the owner of Sylvia's Salon and loved her job and her customers. Sylvia enjoyed volunteering with the White Covered Bridge Association and spending time with her family. She loved doting over her grandson, who she described as her "true joy". Sylvia was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a true friend and a beautiful soul.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Daniel S. Brioli; her daughter, Maria N. Loring and her husband, Charles; a grandson, Owen C. Loring; four brothers Richard Davis and his wife, Cindy, Dieter Heins, Mario Heins and his wife, Silke, and Sascha Heins; two sisters Maryann Ealy and her husband, Joseph and Gabi Gangei; several nieces and nephews; a great niece and several great nephews.
A private ceremony will be held for the immediate family and a public memorial ceremony and celebration of her life will be held in 2019. More information will be published at a later date.
