Thomas K. Berry

Thomas K. Berry age 70, of Carmichaels, Pa. passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 in the WVU Hospital Uniontown following a brief illness.  He was born on May 5, 1954 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of the late Kramer and Wilda (Blackburn) Berry. Mr. Berry was a 1972 graduate of Carmichaels High School and worked at Foodland, stocking shelves and carrying the customers’ groceries to their vehicles.  He later worked for Ohio Pitt for a few years before finishing his career at West Penn Power, having retired in 2005.  On July 29, 1976 he married Shirley A. (Haney) Berry . They loved being outside camping, hunting and fishing together and spending time with their dogs.

Surviving are two daughters, Jackie Sanner (Carl) and Brenda Ravansky (David) both of Carmichaels; three grandchildren, CJ Sanner (Haley), Megan Hall (Sonny) and DJ Radvansky; two great grandchildren, Landen and Sierra Sanner and his special companion Stormie Ann, his Labrador retriever.  Deceased in addition to his wife and parents are two daughters, Tammy Lynn Taylor Teagarden and Kimberly Diane Taylor; two grandchildren, Madison Mae Teagarden and KJ Teagarden; a great granddaughter, Ashlyn Leeann Sanner; twin sisters, Bobby and Bunny, also their two beloved hunting dogs Brandy and Patch Boochu.

Family and friends are welcome from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director/Owner and Aaron S. Walker, Funeral Director, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 with Pastor Jeff Hathaway officiating.  Interment will follow at Laurel Point Cemetery.
