William “Bill” E. Everly, Jr., of Dilliner, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the age of 60. He was born on April 19, 1966, the son of the late William E. Everly, Sr. and Virginia Everly. On April 23, 2007, he married his wife, Deborah Ann (Stofcheck) Christensen, who survives.
Bill worked as a plumber for Hugharts Plumbing Supply, where he was also a manager. He spent a few years working as a CNA, and later dedicated over 10 years to providing in-home care throughout Greene County.
Outside of work, Bill found enjoyment in woodworking, building cabinets and wooden chests. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penn State. He also had a great love for his dogs and cats. Cleo, "his girl," held a special place in his heart. Bill was also a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Along with his wife, Bill is survived by his stepdaughter, Samantha Christensen of Dilliner; granddaughter, Ashlan Herrod; sisters, Debbie (Mike) of Arizona, Sandy (Keith), and Diane (Jack) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was known as a giving person and, even in death, his giving continues by giving the gift of life to others through organ and tissue donation.
All arrangements for Bill are private and entrusted to Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc.
