Mr. Harr opened Harr's Gasoline City with his father in 1961, also selling recreational vehicles. Later, he opened Sam and Bill's, later known as Just Bill's. Mr. Harr was a past president of the Carmichaels Lions Club, a member of the former Carmichaels Rotary Club and a director for the King Coal Association.
