John Waslousky, age 95, of Crucible, Pa., died at 10:55 P.M. on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. following a lingering illness. He was born February 28, 1911 in Arnold City, Pa., a son of the late Joseph and Ann Slage Waslousky. He worked as a laborer for the Crucible Fuel Company Coal Mine for 43 years until the mine closed. Mr. Waslousky was a member of U.M.W.A. Dilworth Local No. 1980. He attended St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Crucible. Mr. Waslousky enjoyed watching sports and going to the Meadows Race Track. He also enjoyed gardening as long as his health permitted. Surviving is a daughter, Jean Rozanski and her husband, Alfred of Baltimore, Md.; three grandchildren, Bishop Mitchell T.Rozanski of Baltimore, Md., Kenneth A. Rozanski and wife , Lisa of Taneytown, Md., Albert S. Rozanski and wife, Danielle of Elkridge, Md.; four great grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Donna Waslousky of McClellandtown, Pa. and several loving nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, Charles and George Waslousky and a sister, Stella Sherry. He is the last of his immediate family. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Yoskovich Funeral Home of Carmichaels, Pa.
